What are some of your hobbies?
Reading, browsing the internet, or trying to sketch drawings.
What genre of music do you like?
Pop music and R&B.
What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie: The Diary of Wimpy Kid trilogy.
Who is your favorite actor/artist/celebrity? Why?
Other than celebrities, I admire the works of the many fellow YouTubers I watch, such as ItsKeisha, she's a very outspoken individual and I like that she brings sensitive or controversial topics to her platform, which many don’t seem to acknowledge nowadays. Like she has no filter when it comes to her opinions.
If you use social media, which is your most preferred?
I prefer both Reddit and Twitter, because I like how people express themselves through a spectrum of views based on subjective matters.
Cake or ice cream?
Ice cream is always the dominant choice.
Would you like to live to 100? Why or why not?
I would like to live until I'm a hundred since I’d be able to stay in the background, judging, being more visible on how pop culture evolves, gaining so much information on how we as people have developed.
If you won 1 million dollars today, what would you do with it?
If I had million dollars, first I would pay off my tuition, and then purchase a house for my parents.
If you could choose a superpower, what would you choose?
Invisibility, it's fun to be secretive.
Who/What is your inspiration? Why?
I would say my parents, but the creator of Hot Flamin Cheetos because after hearing his story, it made me feel sympathetic for him, especially under the condition he was in, being uneducated, but determined . Made me realize that even the slightest ideas can cause the greatest effects, in account to the success. That is shown in Richard Montañez career, industrializing the Frito-Lay corporation.
If you could send a message to your 30 year old self, what would it be?
Don’t worry if things didn’t go as expected, as long as we have reached one of our goals, I’d say that’s one accomplishment is worth praising, even better having the patience to inquire through so much in our life, yet realizing we got something out of it.
What are your three greatest takeaways from the Dorson Scholars Program after completing year one?
One of the most essential takeaways I got out of this program in our first year is that by networking we open ourselves to opportunities that await us, it’s better getting to know our peers in order to understand them to a full extent, and we should never be afraid of getting criticism.
