I would tell him that wherever he is in life better be where we wanted to end up in life. If not, he should get up off his butt, stop whatever he is doing and get to making the dreams come true.

What are your three greatest takeaways from the Dorson Scholars Program after completing year one?

My three greatest takeaways are that the Dorson Program is willing to help us through all of our four years at school no matter the ups or the downs as long as we apply ourselves. Also, I learned that they are willing to work with us to fix bad habits and create good habits to lead us to our best potential and prepare us for college. Finally, that Dorson is always going to be there for us if we need resources and help throughout our years there [in college] and maybe afterwards.
