What are some of your hobbies?

Some of my hobbies are writing, dancing, and sometimes drawing.

What genre of music do you like?

The genres of music that I listen to the most are R&B and Reggae. I like a lot of different genres though.

What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movies are The Hate U Give and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Who is your favorite actor/artist/celebrity? Why?

My favorite celebrities are Jhené Aiko, Ella Mai, and Zendaya. I also really like Chloe and Halle and H.E.R. I like them because their music is what I listen to on a daily basis.

I think I enjoy Tik Tok, Instagram, and Twitter the most.

Cake or ice cream?

I prefer ice cream.

I would like to live to one hundred because if you can live long enough to continue to experience things why wouldn’t you?

If you won 1 million dollars today, what would you do with it?

If I were to win $1,000,000 I would donate to some organizations who do good things, start my own company, and save some towards college tuition. My parents would get some as well.

If you could choose a superpower, what would you choose?

I think I would choose either invisibility, teleportation, or the ability to read minds.

Happiness and success are my inspirations along with my parents. Those things inspire me to keep going strong even when I don’t want to.

If you could send a message to your 30 year old self, what would it be?

It would be to make sure that you are happy and whatever you are doing is worth it.

What are your three greatest takeaways from the Dorson Scholars Program after completing year one?

My three greatest takeaways would be to think about the future, be open minded towards different choices, and try to take in as much as you can.
