A native of Jamaica, Kellion Knibb, stumbled on the opportunity to give back to under-served communities and bright-eyed students through Dorson Community Foundation. Knibb grew up in an inner-city in Jamaica and learned the value of education through encouraging voices that helped her become the first in her family to earn a college education.
At Dorson, Kellion met students like herself: highly motivated, from low-income communities, and in pursuit of higher education. Kellion is driven to encourage and give back to students as others did for her. Coming from a low-income background, Knibb brings an interesting perspective to Dorson's Board of Directors. Let's get to know Kellion!
