Founder of Dorson Community Foundation, Sonia Scott, is a visionary who is driven to help undeserved communities. Dorson is where it is today because of Sonia's dedication to help others and her community. She believes that education is the way to a better future and this belief has manifested into a Foundation that has served more than 2000 students in Essex County, NJ. Live life to its fullest. Enjoy everything that you believe in such as love, family and friends.

Hardworking. Caring. Strong-willed.
Who/What is your biggest inspiration?
My mother is my greatest inspiration and role model because she made me who I am. She instilled the “I can do anything” mentality.
